Shri P.GANESAN
was appointed as Chairman cum Managing Director with effect
from 2.12.2002.
Born in April 1948,Shri P GANESAN holds a Bachelor's Degree in Science from
Kerala University, has completed his Masters Degree in Arts
(Public Administration) from Madras University, and Post Graduate
Diploma in Business Management from Bombay
University.
Shri. Ganesan joined Steel Authority of India Ltd ( SAIL )
as a Management Trainee and in his 32 years of service, he worked
in various capacities and rose to the level of Executive Director
(Commercial). During his tenure,he has been exposed to various
facets of Marketing and Advanced Management Programmes in
India and Abroad.

SREEMAN N.S. DIRECTOR (COMMERCIAL) |
Shri Sreeman N.S. joined KIOCL on 26.09.2003 as Director (Commercial). He is responsible for all commercial activities of the company comprising International Marketing, Shipment & Materials Management.
Shri Sreeman is 53 years old. He holds a master Degree in Science (Maths) and MBA (Public Enterprise) with Industry and Trade as a Specialization. Prior to his appointment as Director (Commercial) in the company, he was working as General Manager (Commercial) in KIOCL. |

CAPT. J.N KINI, DIRECTOR (PRODUCTION & PROJECTS) |
|
Born in September 1947, Shri J.N. Kini holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and has been with KIOCL since 1977, after a six year stint with the Indian Army in its Corps of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Wing from 1971 onwards and rising to the rank of Captain in the Army, before joining KIOCL.
In KIOCL, he has held several positions in production, construction and maintenance activities and has years of experience in project planning, implementation and equipment planning and maintenance management. Before taking over as Director (P&P), Shri. Kini was working as General Manager (Plant & Services) at Kudremukh .

| SHRI K SWAMINATHAN, DIRECTOR (FINANCE) |
Fifty one year old, Shri K Swaminathan is a Chartered Accountant and a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountant's of India. He is also an Associate Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. He also holds a degree in Law.
Shri K Swaminathan has been with KIOCL for 26 long years, serving in various capacities and brings with him wealth of experience and an astute understanding of issues facing the company at this juncture, when it is on a threshold of embarking on new plans of diversifying its activities.
